How do spend your one day in Paris

Welcome to Paris, The city of light is a treasure of neighborhoods and history, and a visit to this city at least 3 days so that you can capture the beauty and essence of Paris such as world-class art galleries, couples kiss on lamp lit bridges and park benches, gracious parks, exquisite cuisine, tiny candle-lit bistros, chatty crepe stands and wicker chair-lined café. There are more amazing churches in Paris than you can count on two hands.




Do not worry if you'll only be able to scratch the surface in one day, but here goes your mix and match Paris one day itinerary. Paris is blessed with one of the most efficient METRO systems, therefore all the Itineraries (one day in Paris) are based on this transport.

Here is one day busy Paris Travel itinerary and you will enjoy the city's most glorious landmarks all in one day:

Musee du Louvre
Start your day at this centuries-old museum which amid by more than 35,000 works of art. Ensure yourself arrive at the Louvre preferable before the doors open at 9am so that you can get beat the crowd which average 25,000 to 30,000 daily visitor. Purchase your ticket in advance on the Louvre's website. To tackling short visit at Louvre, it suggested that visit on Leonardo da Vinci's Portrait of serenely smirking Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo found in 1820 on the Greek Island of Milo, The Winged Victory of Samothrace.



Jardin des Tuileries
After having yourself fill of art, painting and sculpture, take a short relaxing walk, read or rest at the oldest garden in Paris, Tuileries. You also relax yourself by sitting in the naturally reclining chairs situated around the pond.



Arc De Triomphe
You apparently to reward yourself after climbing the 280 steps to the top with a view highlights of the Paris - the Voie Triomphale from the Louvre to the 60 ultra-modern high rise La Defense, and the dizzy traffic which 12 avenues radiating out from the place de L'Etoile like the points of a star.



Avenue des Champs-Elysées

After the sensational view of Arc De Triomphe, wander the Avenue des Champs-Elysées which was once of the "most beautiful street in the world. On this walk, you can do a lot of activities here such as shopping, buying a lovely souvenir or lunch. You can even drop a wad of money on LV and browse the designer showrooms and boutiques to know what world fashion are happening. If you get tired, recharge your batteries with a coffee at one of the tourist café after run out of energy.



Remember to stand at centre of the road to snap the photo of Arc de Triomphe which stands imperturbably and solidly in place.

Notre Dame Cathedral (90 Minutes)
Along with Eiffel Tower, Notra Dame de Paris is one of Paris's iconic momentums. This gothic masterpiece need 400 years to built and for a 700 years this monumental cathedral was the most important church in Paris.


Must & Recommended Activities:
- Reserve your time sitting the bench in front of the Cathedral to study its sculpture and windows.
- Enjoy interior inside the Notre Dame and do not miss the rose windows that fill each of the transepts.

Extra Activities:
- Standing in front of the cathedral is now the Place du Parvis, on the ground marked "Point Zero" which is the centre of France, the point from which all distances in France are measured.

- Climb the corkscrew staircase to the towers to mingle with the gargoyles.

- If you feel hungry then cross the Pont au Double and you can find a lot budget restaurant and souvenir shop along or street behind at Quai de Montebello.

Evening Stroll along La Seine
Paris is punctuated by an abundance of seduction of the Seine. Stroll along the banks of the La Seine on a slew of river-hugging pedestrian walkways which recommend scratches from Notre Dame to Pont Des Arts.

You can see a lot of Parisians who like to linger on this elegant Pont Des Arts.
Keep your eyes peeled for a lot of romantic scenes such as sunset kiss at Pont Des Arts. Also enjoy free entertainment by street musicians strumming melodies and bands play along the bank.



Eiffel Tower
End your day by watching the glittering Eiffel Tower sparkle at nightfall either standing at Trocadéro or Champs de Mars. The Eiffel Tower does its electric shimmy for five minutes every hour on the hour till 1am.

If you manage reserving your ticket online, zip up this quintessential symbol of France to reach the second level or top for truly breath-taking views of Paris.

* Be prepared for jostling with crowds for snapping an Eiffel Tower specially at Trocadéro.
